Capita Financial Group is a leading service provider in the provision of fund accounting services to fund management companies*. In the UK, we currently supply fund accounting support to over 20% of authorised funds and combining this with our growing offshore business, means that we provide fund accounting services to circa £33bn of funds**.
For fund accounting and reporting, our platform of choice is SunGard InvestOne, which supports the full range of traditional investment classes in all of our jurisdictions. InvestOne is an industry leading investment accounting and reporting solutions in its respective field processing more than $25 trillion in assets globally***.
Our services cover an extensive range of open and closed ended vehicles across UCITS (Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities) & Non-UCITS, hedge, property, private equity, investment trusts, venture capital trusts & enterprise investment schemes. We accommodate a wide range of valuation frequencies for our extensive client portfolio as well as supporting a number of performance fee calculation methodologies.
Over recent years we have extended our geographical servicing capacity to now include operations in jurisdictions including Ireland, Gibraltar, Jersey and Guernsey. This enables us to service clients on a multi jurisdictional basis with a fully integrated fund accounting and transfer agency offering. To support all of our jurisdictions, we also undertake some fund accounting functions, including reconciliations, in our offshore operation in Mumbai.
It is worth highlighting that we are different from many of our competitors as we are not a global custodian - this independence allows us to work with our clients preferred custodians and trustee/depositary partners where we have extensive experience of interfacing with all the major players in these sectors to deliver high quality solutions to mutual clients.
